Prosthetic restorations have always been the most important problem of dental surgery. Sometimes a single, sometime all teeth.

In classical prosthetics to perform such a restoration and to install the so-called prosthetic bridge it is necessary to grind the natural teeth of the patient.

If there are too few own teeth or there are no existing natural teeth the patient has to accept the so-called removable denture (see prosthetics).

In modern dentistry there is a state-of-the-art solution allowing dental professionals to restore a single tooth, a few teeth, whereas in extreme situations even all dentition based on the so-called dental implants. The dental implant is an artificial tooth root made of pure titanium. After implanting it and integration with natural bone it will make a pillar for reconstruction a lost tooth or teeth.
